📸 Picture Day is Coming to Salish Coast!
This year, Salish Coast Elementary will be using JostensPIX for school pictures!
One important change for families: Jostens does not send home traditional picture-day flyers or order forms. There is no need to send money or an order form to school on Picture Day.
Here’s what to expect:
• Students will have their pictures taken at school on Picture Day.
• After Picture Day, Jostens will notify families when photos are ready to view online.
• Families will be able to preview their child’s photos before purchasing and choose the photos and packages they want.
• Orders are placed online and photos are shipped directly to your home.
• Digital photo options may also be available.
JostensPIX makes the process simple and convenient, with no paper forms or money collection at school.

Join us for the Jefferson County Farm Tour, September 19th and 20th, from 10AM - 4PM! Explore working farms across the county, meet local farmers, enjoy farm-made products, and participate in hands-on workshops -- all in support of local food, fiber, and farming in our community. Hello Salish Coast Families!
It is almost back to school time! We hope you can join us for our Back-to-School Night on August 27th from 5:30-6:30 pm.
School starts on September 1st. Please plan to have your students at school and in their seats by the 8:15 am bell.
TTK & Kindergarten Camp is September 1, 2, and 3: School is from 8:15 am-12:50 pm.
TTK & Kindergarten will have their first full day of school from 8:15 am -2:50 pm on September 10th.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our returning families and welcoming new ones as well!

The Class of 2026 will make its way through Port Townsend during the annual Graduation Serpentine Parade
Community members are invited to line the route, wave, cheer, and help celebrate our graduating seniors as they travel with their families to the commencement ceremony.
It's a wonderful Port Townsend tradition and one more chance for the community to show our seniors how proud we are of them!
